Cape Kiwanda couldn’t have been a more beautiful place for
these two souls to get married. Surrounded by their closest
family and friends with the water hitting the rocks behind
them, and raindrops settling on their shoulders and the
sound of their little one Emmie, bringing a smile to
everyone’s faces. It was magic.
I kept remembering that sentence from
Kailee’s emails to me as I took photos of
this Cape Kiwanda elopement because I
love the stories behind the people. The
nervous laughter on the first date to the
moment they looked at each other and
knew they’d finally found their home.
I had the biggest crush on Yomy from the moment I saw him but was too
dang nervous to even form a sentence around him. That’s always so funny
for me to think about because now we’ve been together for 5.5 years and
he’s become the love of my life and my absolute best friend.
I want the connection,
the vulnerability.
