Portland, Oregon has some of the neatest spots to visit and a lot of them are pretty romantic too! I’ve bunched together some of my favorites near and farand hope that there’s something that makes you and your boo get all mushy gushy in love all over again. On that note- to Portland we go!!
Special Date Night
If you’re wanting to feel special one of Portland’s most well-known restaurants is Clyde’s Prime Rib. Tucked away in NE Portland’s Hollywood District, this place is perfect for any lover of the finer things. Enjoy some delicious steak or lobster in a private booth and listen to some jazz and soulful tunes to set the mood for the rest of the night. Or hit up the bar and dancefloor and make a party of it.
Angel Face can be just the right place to enjoy cocktails with pink floral wallpapers in the background (#instaworthy). Though served in smaller portions poached eggs dipped in vinegary red wine and simmering French onion soup will seriously be the best thing your taste buds have ever well… tasted haha. A customer’s ‘favorite steak tartare’ is also a must have. You can make it a little more adventours by adding some raw, sliced oysters.
If its closer to the wedding and you and the boo are tryna get your glow on you can sweat out together in sauna Löyly on a midday venture, refreshing morning or an unwinding eve. La Panza and Tasty N Sons are the nearby quality brunch spots. If you two want to be alone to share some private moments check out the cedar sauna!

Portland’s Ancient Hotel, Movies, & Munchies
An old school McMenamins Old St. Francis, built in 1936, was later transformed in a hotel in the year 2004. Classrooms changed into accommodation areas, a brewery, a pub, event space, and a movie theatre with a lot of variety can set the scene for the perfect date. Also, make sure to check out the new hidden bar.
You can get some snacks, food and a drink from the private Fireside Bar. Or you can enjoy a nice dinner at O’Kanes or Old St. Francis Pub. If you want to enjoy your dinner while watching a movie make sure you check out Old St. Francis School Theater Pub. AND if you’re the hotel guests make sure you take a dip in the soaking pool.
Afterward slip away to the secret Broom Closet Bar. You can enjoy a variety of classic cocktails as scotch, whiskey, and Port. Haven’t had enough? Stay the night and continue the fun!
