As a Portland engagement photographer, my goal is to help you capture your story in a way that is genuine to you! No two couples are the same! What can this look like? I have had couples who want to do a more editorial & fashion-forward session where we curate the poses & go for the art! I have had couples who want to lean into the calm and have a sweet in-home session, stroll the streets & go to their favorite coffee shop, capturing their life together at this moment in time. And then of course- my adventurous couples who want to go to the forest or coast and spend a day exploring together, where the photos are candid, and we walk away having created a new core memory for them.

Engagement Session Tips:
💍 What to Wear: Neutral, earth-toned outfits photograph beautifully in Portland’s natural landscapes or urban backdrops! Also, lean in textures! Avoid loud patterns & harsh colors (ex. neons) For the colder months, think layers & embrace the moody PNW weather.
⏳ Best Time of Year: Spring and fall offer the best natural light, while summer brings long, golden sunsets- which does mean a session late in the day, but it’s definitely worth it!
🌦️ Weather Plan: Portland is known for rain! I always recommend a backup location or reschedule options just in case! But if you’re down for an adventure, photos in the rain can be absolutely stunning!!
