Gorgeous Fall Wedding at Abernethy Center, Abigail’s Garden
Riley & Rob’s wedding at Abigail’s Garden was the perfect fusion of rich fall and cultural colors. They brought their wedding day vision to life in a way that was uniquely theirs. Riley had told me in their initial email that they were “dreaming of a wedding that just feels like a really sweet, fun, romantic, big queer party” and I think they managed just that! Riley and their wedding party got ready in matching pajamas, while Rob and his party were jamming out to Chappell Roan (and also slowly getting ready)! They asked their oldest friend and past roommate to officiate and their siblings to give speeches. Every moment of their wedding at Abigail’s Garden was so intentional and thoughtful. I think my favorite part of their day was when we left for golden hour portraits, and they (literally) frolicked around the gardens (something we had joked about them doing on all our consult calls!!) One of the best things about Oregon this time of year is how vibrant all the colors become, and Abigail’s Garden has the perfect road leading up to the entry that gets lit in the most beautiful warm light, it made their portraits so dreamy- I was obsessed!! Rob had mentioned that his favorite style of photography was more styled and nostalgic toned, leaning into the warmth and grit and feeling of being there that day and I felt like these moments in the golden light completely exemplified that! I also loved that they chose to change outfits for the reception and how it matched the incredible red of all their details! They truly made the day theirs, and it was such a reflection of their love for each other from start to finish!
